The Canadian Forces members serving overseas appreciate receiving correspondence from individuals as well as from groups, schools and organizations from across Canada. Post cards and single cards in envelopes may be sent to any of the addresses below. Please note that only parcels as described in the "Bulk Mail" paragraph below are acceptable. Parcels that contain items other than correspondence, such as care packages or donations, will be returned to the sender at the sender’s expense. Those wishing to send care packages or donations are to follow this link - Donations.

Bulk mail
Schools, groups, businesses and associations may send cards and letters bulked in a parcel. The parcel is not to contain any other item other than correspondence. Parcels found to contain items other than correspondence will be returned to the sender at the sender’s expense.

NOTE: If you would like to hear back from CF members, please include an email address or website link in your letter in addition to your return address. This makes it easier for those missions that cannot send out letters due to operational issues.

Saint John New Brunswick War Memorial

Ever since I was a kid many,many years ago,[ I'm now 60 ] this memorial in King Square, located in Uptown Saint John City, for years was the focal point of the November 11th Remembrance Day Services. Now the memorial service is held inside of Saint John Harbour Station, the few remaining Vets that are alive now, just can't take the Cold & Inclement Weather this City can produce at this time of year.

In 1941, the British, hoping to deter hostile action by Japan, decided to reinforce their outpost in Hong Kong. To help defend the Crown Colony, Canada sent a force of 1,975, consisting of two battalions – the Winnipeg Grenadiers and the Royal Rifles of Canada; a brigade headquarters group; and various specialists details. What ensued was seventeen and one half days of intense fighting, known as the Battle of Hong Kong. When Allied forces were overrun on Christmas Day, December 25, 1941, those who had survived the battle found themselves in what would become four years of captivity in prisoner-of-war and Japanese work camps. In recognition of their tremendous sacrifice and critical role in Canada's military history, the Government of Canada has paid tribute to these brave men and women during this, the Year of the Veteran and the 60th anniversary of the end of the Second World War. In August, more than one hundred Veterans from the Far East campaign gathered in Ottawa for national events. In December, the Minister of Veterans Affairs will return to Hong Kong with six Veterans of that campaign.

Isn't Valentines Day a wonderful way to make a fuss

And let Veterans know we will never forget what they have done for us...
Show Veterans your gratitude for their sacrifices and achievements in serving our country. Create a hand-made valentine and help bring joy to a Canadian Veteran this Valentine's Day.
Each year, Veterans Affairs Canada ( VAC ) invites Canadian schools, individuals and organizations to make Valentines for Vets. VAC , then, distributes the valentines to Veterans in long-term care facilities across the country in time for February 14.

Tips for Teachers:
Please do not include candy or chocolate with the valentines.
Do not use sparkles or materials that easily break off the valentines.
Encourage your students to sign their valentines and to write a bit about themselves—their age and what school they attend. However, do not include addresses or phone numbers.
Do not put individual valentines in sealed envelopes. Send us a single large envelope containing all of the valentines.
Do not put the date or year on the valentines.
Ensure your students are aware of who Veterans are—they are living and were soldiers who served in the military. Avoid using "RIP" and images related to violence or death such as graveyards or guns.
Message Ideas:
Tell the Veteran why they are important, what you plan to do this year to remember our nation's proud military history, or the reason you want to wish them a Happy Valentine's Day.
Thank the Veteran for his or her service, sacrifice and commitment to our country and citizens.
Write a poem or include one of significance to Valentine's Day or to Veterans, such as, "In Flanders Field" or "Roses are Red".
Send a store-bought valentine; hand-crafted cards, however, make Veterans feel extra special.
Valentines of all shapes, sizes, and colours are welcome. However, valentines that are greeting-card size are easier to package and distribute.

This site is to try and start a Motorcycle Club, Organization, or whatever you want to call it, for anybody no matter what type of Motorcycle you ride, who Honours and Remembers what all of Canada's Military Veterans, Past, Present & Future have done for all of us and Canada, as a whole.

No Military or Law Enforcement Time is required to be part of this Club or Organization.

This site will also always be remembering as well, all Law Enforcement Officers & Fire Fighters who fell in the line of duty. This Site and Club is not meant, to Compete or Interfere with any other existing Military, or Law Enforcement Motorcycle Clubs, or Riding Organizations.

The sole purpose of this Motorcycle Club if it ever gets off the ground here in the Saint John area, is to Openly Display Your Honour & Pride, For Our Troops who have given their lives serving Canada, and Helping The People Throughout The World.

There will be no so-called Club Dues required to join. Crests are currently in the process of being made up. If somebody is interested in obtaining a One Piece Crest that states, " CANADIAN VETS REMEMBRANCE RIDERS " With The Canadian Flag In The Middle ". These Crests will only cost, the actual Cost Of Making The Crest at a Saint John Company. Hopefully the Crest Will Be Posted No Later Than Friday, February 12th.

The cost will vary, depending on how many Crests are ordered, if this thing ever gets off the Ground.

A Ride has already been planned for the Victoria Day Holiday Weekend. More Details on this will be unveiled shortly. I'm also in the process of trying to find a building location to hold Meetings, where Members and Non-Members can meet and discuss any possible group rides.
